Prashant Makadia, DDS

Dr. Makadia has called Kitsap county his home after moving to united states in 2004. Like most of us who live here, he is amazed at the natural beauty and peace that he finds living in this part of the country.

Dr. Makadia was born and raised in Gujarat, India. He studied dentistry at one of the best dental schools in his state in India. He graduated from dental school in India in 2001 after completing his study and one year of residency. He decided to follow the family tradition of arranged marriage and has been happily married to Kina since 2002. Kina was a resident of Bremerton, Washington and Dr. Makadia thanks her for showing him this part of the united states of America. After arriving to USA in 2004, Dr. Makadia decided to pursue further education to get licensed in the United States. He had to move to Chicago, Illinois for this endeavor. Dr. Makadia graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008. Dr. Makadia and Kina were the parents of a cute 2 month old baby at his graduation and they decided to move back home and raise their son, Prem, in the place that they both love and find peace in. Dr. Makadia worked with a corporate dental practice in Silverdale for about 2 and half years. His desire to do more for the community, his passion for going above and beyond for his patients inspired him to open the doors of his dental clinic, Healthy Teeth Dental Care.

Dr. Makadia keeps up-to-date with all the advances in dental treatments through continuing education courses after graduation. Staying on top of current advancements enables him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. “I love listening to my patients, because if you don’t listen and find out what is the main reason for discomfort/visit, then you cannot come up with a plan that fits that particular patients needs. I believe you can apply this to any situations in your life.”

Celena Saldivar– Lead Dental Assistant

Celena is a 2008 Graduate from Everest college in Bremerton WA. Her goal as a Dental Assistant is to ensure the patients dental visits are relaxing, comfortable and they have an overall enjoyable experience. She will go above and beyond to make sure you are educated and fully understand your dental procedures. Celena is so happy to be able to assist Dr. Makadia in giving you the bright confidant smile you deserve. She is pleased to say she works with an outstanding team who are dedicated and devoted to your happiness and oral health. Celena enjoys Cooking, Gardening, Fishing, Camping and spending quality time with her family, friends and pets.

Kina- Patient Services

Kina is our Patient Services Coordinator. Kina has been working as Patient Services Coordinator at Healthy Teeth Dental Care since her husband Prashant Makadia opened the doors of the clinic to serve the kitsap community. She has over 5 years of experience working in the medical field. Her previous endeavors include Peninsula Community Health Services where she worked as Medical receptionist for 3 years. She received “Making a Difference” award in 2006 at Peninsula community healthy services. Then she worked as patient services representative for multi-specialty orthopedic clinic in Illinois. Kina has been a stay at home mom taking care of their now 3year old son, Prem. She is excited to get back to working and looks forward to working with you coordinating your dental care at Healthy Teeth Dental Care.

Chelsea Martin- Patient services/Dental Assistant

Chelsea Martin graduated from Everest College in 2010 becoming a registered Dental Assistant. She loves being in the dental field and knows it will be a lifelong career. Chelsea strives to give the best patient care and is always looking to improve her dental knowledge. Chelsea was born and raised in Michigan, moving to Kitsap County two years ago when her husband Keith was stationed at Bangor Submarine Base. Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and loves to travel as much as possible.

Jeanette- Patient Services

Jeanette has been in the dental field since 2008. She has over 14 years of experience in customer service. She is one of the first people that our patients meet and talk to when they come to our office. She loves to help our patients with their insurance and schedule their dental care visits. Jeanette loves to shop, travel and spend time with her husband and two children. She loves Italian food and chocolate.
